Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Description: The Powders Operations role at PennPak Solutions is a “hands on” operations and management position. This position plays a key role in planning and developing production powder lines. This position will also be materially involved with hands-on operating, problem solving, product quality, maintaining, and managing production powder lines and supporting equipment. This is a great opportunity for an individual that enjoys project and operating responsibility from conceptual ideas and planning, to building the line, specifying & sourcing equipment, coordinating installations with facilities, managing the start-up, operation, and production results.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations for the 2nd shift, ensuring smooth production processes.

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 20 members to meet performance and quality standards.

• Monitor production schedules, workflows, and resources to meet deadlines and efficiency targets.

• Uphold company policies, safety protocols, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance.

• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in collaboration with other departments.

• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, incidents, and performance metrics.

• Plan and maintain production schedules, material requirements, and other operating needs.

• Promote and enforce good GMPs and food safety initiatives.

• Position reports to Director of Operations.

• Other duties and functions may be assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications and production tracking systems.
